ACT Effectively: Introduction to Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

ACT is a modern “third wave” process based psychotherapy which opens up an entirely new method of change that has been untapped by older therapy models to answer the challenge of human suffering. In this lecture you will not just learn how to, practically, use ACT in your therapy practice, but will also learn the underlying research program that ACT has been developed out of – Relational Frame Theory. By covering RFT and the philosophy ACT is coming out of you, you the clinician, will be empowered to more effectively use this approach with your clients maximizing what ACT has to offer.
